Purpose
The purpose of this project is to mathematically analyze the effects shoreline habitats have on the Indian River Lagoon’s species diversity using a T-test.
Significance
Invasive species along with human influence affect the shore line around the Indian River Lagoon since species diversity and interaction may be influenced by the surrounding environments. The significance of this project is to see if certain shoreline habitats greatly affect, or endanger the Indian River Lagoon’s species diversity.
Hypothesis
Ho: There will be no difference in the species diversity at each site.
H1: There will be greater species diversity around the mangrove site than the other sites.
